A day of twisting and turning!

Want to progress downhill

You've already done some ski touring but the descent is still a problem: your thighs heat up quickly and your trajectories aren't always under control... in short, it can be a bit of a nightmare!

Programme

With your ski touring equipment (skis and boots), we'll go over the basics of ski touring on the slopes, eliminating all constraints: few slopes, groomed snow, no obstacles....

Then, after a packed picnic, we'll put all this into practice on a variety of fun off-piste itineraries.

  • Meet at 8am in front of the ESF in Les Orres 1650.
  • First contact with your instructor - don't worry if he seems a bit gruff at first... in reality he's nice!
  • introduction to the basics on easy slopes,
  • picnic in the great outdoors,
  • off-piste itineraries,
  • End of the day at 5.30pm... aperitif!

The schedule for this day is given as an indication only. The instructor reserves the right to modify it according to
snow and safety conditions and the level of each participant.

OUR ADVICE :)
Despite the cold of winter or the mildness of spring, during this adventure where we are going to go from very cold to very hot and from very hot to very cold fairly quickly, it is important to be able to modulate the temperature.

layers. The weather can also change (for the better or worse) just as quickly, so don't take the above list lightly.
so don't take the above list lightly, you could suffer unpleasant or even dangerous consequences.
Clothes that are too warm will make you sweat, and if this moisture isn't evacuated as much as possible, you won't be able to keep warm.
you won't be able to keep warm even with a huge down jacket.
The 3-layer system works very well, and we recommend it. Personally, we often
often have a 4th layer just in case (sleeveless down jacket, for example).
INSURANCE ?
All participants in a SKI & MONTAGNE EXPÉRIENCES holiday must be covered by an individual civil liability
liability insurance.
Similarly, it is imperative that you are covered (rescue and repatriation costs) in the event of an incident or accident during your stay.
