What equipment do I need?

For an off-piste outing in optimum conditions, we recommend you bring:

Off-piste skis
A helmet
Ski goggles or mask
A rucksack including: safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) and a bottle of water

For a successful ski touring outing, we recommend you bring:

Light touring skis with suitable bindings
Ski skins (stickers to attach to touring skis)
A pair of poles with wide washers
A rucksack including: safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) and a bottle of water

Emergency equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) can be loaned by esf Les Orres for off-piste exploration.
